Hi there. First post. I have been reading tons of great information from all of the holistic ferret sites. My female, named Boodle, is already eating chicken hearts, livers, giblets, and necks. I also have Stella and Chewy Duck Duck Goose frozen raw dinner morsels. These contain duck, goose, and turkey. So she is getting four types of protein. She just recently tried a chunk of pork and gobbled it up as well. I have just started researching breeding my own rats for whole prey meals for her. Thank you everyone for sharing your knowledge about these awesome creatures.

Even with some FDR, the menu seems like it will be dominantly chicken. If you can swap out some chicken bone in meals with another type of bone in meat (ie. quail, frog legs, turkey necks, etc.) it will be beneficial.

Hi and welcome to the forum. Breeding ASF rats myself. Glad hubby is helping me. He has put together a co2 container that he found instructions for on you tube. I can't put them to sleep and do not watch him do it. Some are sweeties some not. Lol.
Anyway he wised up and bought some leather gloves as we have been bit several times. When I clean the bins, I scoop up the meanies in a container. Mostly it is the females but there have been a few bad boys.
