Hey guys! I recently opened an account on this forum and thought that that I would share this interesting thing I've noticed. I recently got my second noodle Obi! I had originally wanted to get my second as an Angora but I saw obi at the pet store while I was getting some litter and I felt so bad for obi and how the pet store was handling him. I fell in love instantly and decided that I needed to take him home. Obi originally had ear mites (which I had treated) and had fur that was horribly thin (you could see his skin clearly).
They had had him on Marshalls ferret food (yuck) and had recommended me in store to keep him on that for a year at least to "ensure he stays healthy". I didn't listen. I knew that switching him directly to raw would perhaps be too much for his digestive system so I had mixed Wysong Digestive Support in with Marshalls to slowly convert him and left another bowl out of only Wysong to see what he would take too. Surprisingly he started drifting only to Wysong and left the Marshalls behind in less then a week! You can now clearly see the difference in fur quality from now vs when I first got obi! Hopefully when I get him on raw his fur will be even sleeker! You can clearly see the direct correlation between what ferrets eat and how it effects their bodies.
I have attached a link for you guys to view photos of before and now . (I don't have a clear direct photo of his fur at the beginning because it was just so bare and thin that it broke my heart to see it).
Here is the link! before and After
Can you believe such a difference? Its only been a month and a half!

O yes--seeing is believing when it comes to the value of a good diet. That's great! He's well on his way to becoming his best self, thanks to you. And on raw you'll only see more benefits.

That's great news!! There's lots of amazing information on this site to switch your noodle to a well balanced raw diet!! Frankenprey! If your fur noodle is still very young, the sooner you can switch him to raw the better!! They're much easier to switch to raw while young as opposed to when they are older. Glad you got him out of that situation!! Yay!!!

Definitely raw makes a difference. But next time, I'd switch to the raw directly. Mine all start their switches day one in the house. It actually upsets tummies more to change kibbles than to go from kibble to raw
