This morning, Mogli came out of the cage, skipped breakfast and walked off and crawled into a sleep tube. About an hour later, he was lethargic, and could barely hold hid head up. He's had trouble walking lately so I was planning on taking him for his last vet visit Saturday. Gave him a dose of pred and lots of hugs and put him in his hammock. Dar24 was planning on checking on him at lunch, but I elected to stay home and work Saturday. He had seizures for about 5 min, then came out of it, so we headed to the vet. Mogli turned 7 in September. He was always the quiet one, and the only trouble he ever got in was when we moved into this house, he found his way under a bathroom vanity into the subfloor, along with 3 others.
Back in 2013, we had lost 3 fuzzies to age related conditions so we went to a store to see who was available. We chose Yoshi, one of the cutest kits ever, Then I asked the store manager about an older girl, Pandora and he said she had been there 7 months, so we got her out of there. On the way home, we felt bad about leaving his sister, Abita there without him so we went back for her. A couple weeks later we were looking for toys and there was Mogli, a dark sable with an awesome black nose. so we went from 2 to 6 just like that. Those 4 were always close, and I called them The Crew, but we lost Pandy suddenly in May '17.
Mogie liked to cuddle, and loved soupies. He had an odd gait, like his front and back ends were sometimes on different frequencies, and he had a lot of other traits that reminded me of Eddie. He'll be missed
The Crew

That is very lovely. I need to do something like that for mine. I have some paw prints. Did your vet provide that service?

Did your vet provide that service? there is a local funeral home that does pet cremations My ve offers the service, but the crematory is out of state and it costs almost twice as much. we have 5 urns from te same service. we buy the urns online.

So sorry to read this, and sorry for the late reply. I have been recovering from spinal surgery the last few weeks and not able to keep up to date.
I am sure that Mogli will be much missed. Sweet dreams little ball of fur.
