I’m looking for sources for whole animal grinds. My Pet Carnivore appears to charge almost $90 for shipping alone making it incredibly expensive to feed raw. Does anyone have any other sources?

I was about to suggest Hare Today but I just noticed they do not ship to Washington State, sadly. Hopefully someone will have a better suggestion. That is the trouble with having frozen commercial raw shipped to you--the need for insulating materials makes it the most expensive way to feed raw. Have you considered whole prey? There's a list at the bottom of this page (note that the link for Rodent Pro doesn't work, you'll have to Google it): holisticferretforum.com/natural-diet/raw-diet-the-meat-of-the-site/shopping-for-raw/

Have you checked with any of your local pet stores to see if they can special order any raw grinds from their suppliers? I used to special order duck necks from a pet store in a neighboring city before they lost the supplier that provided them.
