Am I reading it correctly? Bone-in meals: 8 Muscle meals: 3 Heart meals: 3, of half heart, each? Organ meals: 3, of half organs, each? Egg: 4 meals, with egg included as part of the meal A few questions: - Are those egg meals 1 whole egg, each time? The recommended amount is one whole chicken egg (yolk and white together), per week, up to 2 per week during shedding season. You can feed up to 3 or 4 quail eggs per week as they are smaller.
- Ideally the bone-in meals would consist of at least three different animal proteins; otherwise you do have good variety in the diet. Do you have access to rabbit, quail, or duck, for example? Ferrets are able to consume just about all the bones in those--they can often be found at ethnic markets.
- Meals of all-muscle should only account for 2 of the meals in the week. So you would take out the Friday snack meal of muscle+egg.
- What is the approximate ratio of heart and organs in their respective meals? Heart should amount to 1.5 meals per week, organs should also amount to 1.5 meals in a week (with at least half of that being liver).
(I should be in bed right now so if I missed something, hopefully someone else will correct me!)

Hello I’ve just started with the chicken soup recommended here 😊 his poop is very runny, what do I do?? I’ve started on September the 5tj this year 2019. Mods: should this be it's own thread? Changing any diet can cause some settling down time. It's perfectly normal to see a change in poop during this period. If he is eating the soup, then you can slowly introduce more solid meats into the soup, until it's just ground meat etc. Have a good look through this forum: holisticferret60.proboards.com/board/18/natural-dietLots of useful information to read through. Cheers Neil
