Bit paranoid I've been feeding too much liver etc. Is this a balanced meal plan for 4 ferrets? Assuming each ferret eats 4oz of food per day.
Monday AM 8oz boneless meat Monday PM 8oz bone-in meat
Tuesday AM 8oz boneless meat Tuesday PM 8oz bone-in meat
Wednesday AM 8oz heart Wednesday Lunch 4 eggs (1 per ferret) Wednesday PM 8oz bone-in meat
Thursday AM 8oz boneless meat Thursday PM 8oz bone-in meat
Friday AM 4oz heart, 2oz liver, 2oz kidney Friday PM 8oz bone-in meat
Saturday AM 8oz boneless meat Saturday PM 8oz bone-in meat
Sunday AM 4oz liver, 4oz kidney Sunday PM 8oz bone-in meat

What are all the meats you will be using?
That looks good. You may want to switch to one more bone in meal. I have one day where the AM and PM meals are bone in and have the egg on that day. If you are finding their stool is loose then you may need to add in another bone in meal.
That's what I had to do with Charlie. I find when he eats his mice, his stool is perfect! It tends to be a bit more loose with boneless meals.
You have the right amount of heart, liver and kidney.
Are all your ferrets males? You may find the female will eat a little less. And if they are young they may still eat more then 2oz per meal.

2 oz per ferret is probably not enough for 4 ferrets. My jills eat about 2 to 3 oz and my hobs eat 3 to 5 oz (10% as a guideline). What proteins are you feeding? ciao

What proteins are you feeding? ciao They definitely ate more than 2oz per meal during winter. But I noticed A LOT of food was being left behind and wasted come spring time. Now, there is still a little food left over each meal so I think it's been okay for now. Will probably change next fall / winter.
Proteins are chicken, turkey, duck and rabbit due to Momo's sensitivity to hooved prey. They don't much care for the rabbit. They don't like the taste, but will eat it if it's there. Duck is their favorite! I want to find some other proteins to do but Momo can only do poultry and other non-hooved prey :/ I used to feed venision, beef, pork as well but can't anymore unless I want to separate them, which is hard since they don't usually eat their food all at one time.
I just ordered duck head and brains so I will be able to provide the "other organ" needed in their diet that Momo can have!

The two bone in meals plus egg is a great idea. 3 of them are males, one of them and my girl don't eat too much.
Just chicken, turkey, duck and rabbit due to Momo's hooved prey allergy.

I saw you had food left over. That does happen in the spring time. Charlie does the same but eats a bit more in the fall/winter time. Young ferrets will eat more then older ferrets too because they are still growing.

Young ferrets will eat more then older ferrets too because they re still growing. It's so strange, lots of food gets left over or stashed rather than eaten, some days it all gets eaten. I guess it depends on the day, lol. Question: Is it possible to feed too much "other organ" ? I know you can feed too much liver. but what about brain? I recently got some duck heads with brain, they all like them. It's sort of like a bone-in meal as well since I sort of have to chop up the skull too. The brain will be my "other organ" along with turkey liver.

I'm not sure, but I would just stick with the portions and ratios of organ meats in their diet or it won't be balanced anymore. 1 1/2 servings of heart and 1 1/2 servings of other secreting organs. Maybe someone else has the answer to that.
