My friend hit a duck and is dropping it off to me. It was hit the other day and today he removed it from the bumper. Will it still be safe for Pixie to eat? I'd hate to lose out on feeding her duck.
If it's safe for her to eat, what do I need to know before I give it to her? (I've only bought her already dressed rabbit and cornish hen)
I plan on gutting it and cutting it up for her. Which organs are safe for her, ect?

How warm or cold has it been and how long has it been stuck on his bumper? If the weather is anything like it is here, the duck is frozen solid and heavily salted. Not a good idea. If you decide to feed it, skin it and then freeze it for a minimum of 3 weeks.... Remove the digestive tract of any animal and bladder. The rest you can feed ciao

It stayed overnight. I will do what you say. It'll be skinned and I'll remove the digestive tract and bladder.
Thank you so much.
