Sooooo.. I was just looking at the cage and realized that I can turn the double into a single... I just removed the top floor (actually easier than putting the d*mn thing together) and put the roof back on lol and to thing I was going to spend money on a single. 
hopefully they won't use it as a litter box and just a bed now
