So I made the big decision and got a Ferret Nation cage!! Double unit! The best decision I've made! Sooooo much more easier to get in and clean! I love it! I should have gotten one of these a long time ago for my rats when I had them! I love how I can also separate the top from the bottom too.
It it was no easy task to get! I checked out a few different sites, of course, to get a good deal. Now keep in mind I live in Canada and this is a US company. I ordered online and at first they didn't want to deliver it because it was to a parcel pick up place. They wanted a house to deliver to but I don't have any friends close to me across the border and they don't do international delivery either. There was a store they could have shipped it to but they don't ship to that store either. So the parcel pick up was the best option! Finally they agreed! Even with exchange on the Canadian dollar I made out paying less then if I were to order from a Canadian site.
So my fuzzies are happy and so am I! Yay! Right now I have 2 apartments, but they did fall asleep together the other night when I was transferring everything from their first home to their second home. Charlie likes to go into his little carrier to sleep in his hammock. Mitzi joined him. It was the first time they didn't hiss at each other! I've kept them apart at night when sleeping and eating but they come out together to play all the time.
Ok so what are some good things that I can put in their cage for them to play with? Give me some ideas!

Congrats on that Ferret Nation. They are pretty awesome. I am not good at decorating and putting things in my Ferret Nation---but I do envy those Critter and Ferret Nation cages people fix up for their ratties. They look so fun. My cages are pretty bare:))but I have free roamers, so I do not feel too bad. Anyway here is the toy site holisticferretforum.com/care-and-enrichment/ferret-toys/

I have a dig box but it's too big to put in the cage. lol I can't seem to find the right tubes to put in a cage but I did get the big 15' tunnel from Marshalls for them to play with outside the cage.

We have to have 3 litter boxes in ours so there isn't a lot of room to play, plus they are mostly in there to sleep. We tried toys in the past when we had fewer fuzzies, but they never seemed to play in the cage

I have 2 litter boxes in there, one on each level. So far so good, he is using them both. He keeps a nice clean cage! lol
