Looks good! You do realize you can likely ditch the eggshell powder, as they seem to be doing fine with bones?

ok, didn't know that about the eggshell! Thanks! I was putting it on the meat only meals. I got the vitamin supplement, started with a small amount today to avoid the digestive upset that was mentioned. Hubby is going to the Whole Foods Market to get some livers today ;D So funny that he is meat hunting for me now!

Today's project is making the feeding dens. I have been home sick with the shingles and trying to keep my mind on projects-their foods are cut up and ready in the freezer for quite awile. So now I want to make one of those rubbermaid containers with the hooks in it to see if they like it

Congratulations. you've graduated and you're ready to walk this path alone, now. You have the foundation to help you feed your fuzzes in a more natural and healthy manner. Please remember that your learning never stops, and dietary needs change from ferret to ferret and throughout each their lives. I would also like you to be aware that though you now have the capability and the knowledge to create your little ones diets you are never alone and that your mentor (you need only pm) is always available to you. The list is also a very good resource and you should always be aware that it's available to answer any questions you may have either about diet or care. Good luck, in a few days either Sherry or I will lock down this thread but be aware that you can always look through it as a reference tool but you just will not be able to post to it . Your mentor will be in to congratulate you shortly ;D. ciao
