We travel a lot. My girls are kibble eaters. Zydeco is raw fed. Can I dry hearts, liver, etc. Too take along with me. I am doing jerky, no seasoning for treats. I am not a fan of handling raw meats. Especially organ meats. I thought if I could do hearts, livers, etc. It would be easier. Less messy.

I have never tried that. I just pack raw meat in ice chips and little freezer blocks and bring plenty of plastic grocery bags for clean up. If your ferret will eat them like that I do not see what would be wrong with it. I do not think I would do hearts long term dried as heat destroys taurine if i remember correctly(but not the freezing process). I do not even worry that food stays frozen as long as it stays cold. I just refreeze when i get to my destination.
Will he eat it? If it has been basically air dried there wouldn't be a loss of nutrition, but he may not want it that way.
