I'm sure there's plenty of salmon oil threads on here discussing this but I cannot seem to find them (still figuring out how to navigate this website lol).
which brands do you use? how much/often do you feed? benefits to salmon oil?
thanx! <3

Grizzly (that's the brand name) salmon oil! 1/2 tsp per week, any more than that can lead to diarrhea. I measure out a half tsp into a little eyedropper bottle and use it as a treat over the course of a week. Or you can put a few drops onto meals. Salmon oil is particularly high in omega 3 fatty acids, which are anti-inflammatory and good for heart health as well as nice, thick coats. From what I understand it's also good to have that source of omega 3s in their diets especially if you feed beef from grain-fed feedlot cows, in order to counteract the high amounts of omega 6s generated by that lifestyle in bovines.

My brand is Essential Pet Alaska Wild Salmon Oil. I got it at PetSmart in the cat section. I give mine a couple drops at night before bed. As soon as he hears the lid snap he comes running. I drop in a couple drops in a little bowl and he licks it out then gives me kisses and I give them back and he goes to bed.

I use Wild Alaskan Salmon Oil---I got it at Petco in dog section. I keep mine in fridge. I do not know if it can go rancid---just a precaution. I bought the small 8 oz because I do not give regularly

Right now, I'm using Pet-Tek wild salmon oil. It depends on what store I'm in when I pick some up.

I use the Grizzly Salmon Oil for cats and use it just once a week on his dinner portion.
