How do you guys meal prep for your ferrets? I’ve been going weekly where every week I thaw out all her meats and separate them into containers for am and pm per day and putting the remainder back in the freezer. But all the thawing and refreezing over and over again a lot of the meat is going bad before she gets a chance to eat it. What are your guys feeding routines?

I separate her food in baggies and only thaw what she's going to eat. That way I know what I'll need to get for her.
For example, she has three serving of Cornish Hen. I'll have to buy more for her. Hope that helps.

I thaw all my packs of meat/organs once a week, portion out for meals (I use little tupperware), then put everything including the meals back in the freezer and only put in the fridge what I need for that day. So at night I'll take breakfast out from the freezer and put it in the fridge to thaw overnight, then in the morning I do the same for supper.

When I get fresh food, I chop up and potion them out and put them in little snack baggies from the dollar store. Then I freeze everything. Then I pull out his food the night before and put it in the fridge to thaw over night. By the next morning it's thawed and I give him his meal. If it's frozen food, then I partially thaw and chop up and put into portion sizes then refreeze. I have lots of food in the freezer and when I'm running low I get more of the meats I need so that I'm never out.

Thanks everyone! I think I'm going to start cutting and portioning the whole package and just taking out what she needs for the day instead of portioning for the week and putting whats left in the container back in the freezer unportioned I think that was my problem.
