Yes, I have heard of the frakenprey diet. But I have decided to go with the commercial raw (which yes, I know is more expensive, but for me, it saves freezer space) and I was wanting to know what the best raw food brands were for ferrets.
Since I plan on giving whole prey a few times a week, I worry that if I start off my fuzzies on FDR, they wouldn't want whole prey...But man, when looking through all of my local pet stores, it's so hard to find the right brand! To my knowledge, I know that Stella and Chewy is one of the best. But unfortunately, it's kind of rare around here...
That's what makes FDR so convenient! I can order it online and there are many more options to choose from! In fact, I give my dog Stella and Chewy's because it seems just about everything made for dogs is too low in meat! I know there are some raw food providers, so please share with me the best ones. That could be my second option.

Depends on where you live. Here, it's Carnivora. However best bet is to look for whole animal grinds that are JUST meat/bone/organ. That is literally where the entire animal, baring head/skin/digestive tract, is ground up.

Are the grinds from Haretodaygonetomorrow any good? What is the correct meat percentage for ferrets? 95% right? Darn, what a shame! I just checked out that brand you mentioned, and I can't get it anywhere in the US! And it looked so good, too!

You'll want their ground meat/bone/organ ones. Those are whole animal grinds.

Lol, thanks for answering my questions. I got another one, sorry! So, that's ALL of their grinds, correct? Some grinds will have 10% organs/bones, others will have 7% organs/bones. I know ferrets need 10% of organs/bones in their grinds, but would it be fine to feed grinds that have 7% organs/bones in grinds? If I feed a variety of the grinds that HTGT offers(most of that consisting of the grinds with 10% organs/bones), is that okay?

You will have to read the ingredients. If you are feeding solely grinds, then you want all meat/bone/organ. Not just organ/bone. And yes, stick to the 10% ones.
