Hello,
I've noticed my raw fed ferrets tend to have a more "softer" coat then ferrets I often see at my job who are fed kibble. Is this true or am I just dreaming? lol

No, that's correct. Their coat should be not only softer (because the ferret isn't perpetually at the brink of dehydration as kibbler ferrets are) but should be thicker and some will even note a colour change. Dyes from kibbles can actually taint a coat ciao

Hi no your not dreaming lol and if you add in a daily grooming session they will develop a shine too ! ( comb with a fine tooth comb the type used for head lice in children then brush with a medium hard brush this helps natural oils deposit evenly along the hair shaft them place a dry chamois leather ( the type you use to clean cars )on your hand and smooth over the coat this picks up any fine hairs and dust it also means because you are doing the grooming your ferret wont feel the need to so no hair balls!) hope this helps Bev
