He's eating and pooping great today; not all that playful, though. Could be from the 4 medications I keep having to syringe down his throat, he's a struggle to get anything into orally. I have not seen Dr. Walton yet but we have been emailing; I've sent him the results of the barium x-rays and he gave me his thoughts (Eosinophilic Gastritis and IBD) . Today I finally get to see my vet at around 4pm. Sure, I'd love to exchange numbers! I've met a few people around here with ferrets but not of them know too much about owning them, unfortunately. One of the many reasons I love this forum and the people here.

I wonder if there's anything natural, like a supplement or food that could help with this. Please keep updating on your fuzzy's progress.

We just got home from our checkup and I had my own vet look at it. She believes it's IBD. We have him on some medicines to help and he should hopefully start playing again by the weekend she said. He pooped in her office and she was amazed by how healthy they're looking already. As long as he stays on his road to recovery and I don't see anymore plummets of health he doesn't have to go back in until a few days before our Metronidazole is finished to see if we need to keep him on it. All in all, positive news in the sense he should be getting better from here. Though, if it is IBD as both Dr. Prus and Dr. Walton think then there's a good chance it'll be reoccuring.
