When told she had won July's comp and got to provide this month's theme, bishop24 said 'Ok cool! Let’s go with ferrets vacationing! I want to see some cute ferret swim shorts and picnic baskets 😂'. So get out those holiday snaps and enter this month's photo comp. Remember only one entry per member.

I'm not really a traveller and that means the ferrety boys don't get holidays either (despite the plethora of carriers I own). The one vacation I have had with ferrets (and I have had ferrets over 20 years now) was my trip to Tassie back in 2011. Keeping it simple I am using the one pic I have from that trip that I don't have to jump through hoops to find and upload. It is me and Diablo on the beach near my sisters place. As the ferrets love to dig I thought they would love the beach and digging in the sand but they didn't. Proving they were city boys, they would tug on their leads until they were back on the cement path. The only way they would stay on the beach was if they were not on the beach, ie. someone held them. In the 20+ years I have had ferrets this is the only time any of them would settle as hoodie ferrets. The day this was taken, we walked to the beach with only Diablo as he was the awake ferret at the time. He was happy to stay on the beach in my hoodie. Vacation in Tassie, Diablo and me:

How about vacationing in a summer dress. She almost wore it long enough for me to get my hand out of the picture.
