Hi everyone! This is my first time posting so I hope I’ve done it correctly. My ferrets are both male, one is 4, the other is 5. Their names are ash and meeko. I currently feed them wellness core cat dry cat food and carnivore care soup. Soup is once a day.
I’d like to switch them to Stella and Chewy FDR. One ferret (meeko) has a sensitive tummy when introduced to anything new.
Things I’d like to know:
1. How to transition 2. How much FDR do I prepare? 3. How do I serve it throughout the day? Is it two, three, four times a day? 4. Is there anything extra I should add to their food? 5. Is the carnivore care good for them? Should I continue with it? They absolutely love it.
I’ve read up on all these things but there isn’t much info or the info is confusing.
Thanks!

Hi With FDR, pick your protein. Remove kibble a couple hours beforehand. Take a medallion, crumble it up, and let sit in warm water for about 10 minutes. Mix it up really well. Pick up ferret, have both dish and ferret on your lap, and spoon feed. If they refuse to taste then dab a bit on their nose and let go. 5 minutes later repeat the process. They should ultimately have two wet meals a day of this if healthy. I use one medallion per ferret with FDR,
