As my boys get older, I was curious as to how you guys calculate how much to feed them, preferably for a hob.
Ive heard 10% of their body weight, but obviously it’s more than that.. activity level, age, time of the year, etc.
So, how do you decide how much to feed. Either in general (for any age), or depending on age (kit or adult).
Thanks!

I don't change how I feed, except to make account for seasonal change. Unless they are old/sick/inactive I find appetites stay fairly stable. And the 10% is simply a starting point for when you are first feeding raw, until you get a better idea of how much each ferret eats.

Thank you Sherry! I remember we have talked, but I was curious to see what everyone else does.

Everyone does it a little different - I enjoy seeing those differences to see where I can improve (or course if they are a reliable source of information, such as the admins or seeing if an admin agrees with how a certain person feeds, etc)
