how do I feed raw when I have 4 dogs and a cat. my ferrets have a bedroom but they're let out for around 5-10 hours a day. sometimes they're not. the dogs can get in and out and I don't know how to go about feeding: I can't leave a bowl down without the dogs eating it. I was thinking maybe a cat door into the ferret room but I am unsure. thank you

A cat's diet is the same as a ferret's, just much larger portion.
Dogs are omnivorous, you'll need to look up what's called the BARF diet.

All my carnivorous pets eat the same basic diet. Ferrets and cats are the same, just a bit less bone for the cats. Dogs eat the same basic diet as the ferrets, bone adjusted accordingly. Veggies are optional, some feed, many do not. My dog has been getting left over ferret food for years. My cats ate from the same bowl as the ferrets. A cat door does indeed sound like positive solution to this issue regarding the dogs getting into the food, it won't stop the cats but they will benefit from the change in diet too. ciao

Sounds like your best bet will be to feed two meals a day in the cage where the dogs can't get at the food.
