Hi all! My family will soon be new ferret owners. Our new little guy will be ready in a few weeks, and this forum was suggested for us to learn all we can about raw diet so we are prepared when he comes home. Any suggestions on where to start would be appreciated. I’ve done some basic reading on here....there is a lot to learn!

Our little guy is already on a raw diet...I was thinking the mentorship was for switching. If that‘s not the case, I‘ll definitely sign up. Thanks! Right now, I‘m working my way through the newbies read this stuff post

happykell Oh never mind in that case it is for switching from my current understanding but it also could be for perfecting their current raw diet as well i'm not positive though maybe an actual mentor can clarify (i'm still pretty new here lol). But that newbie stuff should be pretty helpful.
The natural diet section in general would be helpful after the newbie stuff, you can post your own questions, or maybe find whatever you have questions about already there.

Wait, I'm confused -- I thought you didn't have him yet? In any case, I'm very glad you're doing a raw diet Welcome to the forum!

Sherry is correct We are lucky enough to live fairly close to a reputable breeder, who already has them on a raw diet. She actually recommended this site as a great resource when we told her we had decided to go with raw rather than kibble.
