Hi everyone our ferrets lady parts are swollen and me and my mom know that she is fixed and her vagina is swollen and stuff is coming out of it its orange type stuff some what yellow I researched and one wwb said it was some type of cancer and another one says its nothing to worry about. I have no idea we are stuck here. Choclate our ferret we are dealing with is only about 2 1/2 or 3 years old we clean her cage every so often. PLEASE HELP 😓😢ðŸ˜

Get her to the vet, this definitely doesn't sound like nothing to worry about. She needs to be checked out by a vet. A swollen vagina can also be a sign of Adrenal Disease. No way to test for it though, as the panel is usually inaccurate, so all you can do to test for that is get the DES implant and see if symptoms improve, or run a trial of Lupron injections. Tagging in some admin's for their opinion on this too. Sherry, Heather.

The wee one needs to be vetted. This sounds like it might be an infection. It could be adrenal but to me with your description of the discharge sounds like an infection. Vetting is absolutely necessary ASAP. If it's an infection she will need a round of antibiotics, if it's adrenal this too needs to be treated either with Lupron or DES (personally I prefer DES) ciao
