Presenting.... Koda and Kenai's new playroom! Tower under the window (The Big Tower) Tunnels and Bags and Shelves Oh My! This is fulled with blankets Boxes to hide in You can kind of see the boxes here. There are 2 stacked on top of each other (the bottom of which is filled with a pair of old jeans for tunneling and snuggling), then there is a longer box on the side jammed between the towers and the bookshelf... The rubbermaid with the tunnel going into it will be filled with shredded paper to dig in once I bring it home from work, meanwhile it is filled with toys lol The rodent rack - they are across from the window so they get natural daylight all day, but when they boys are out I can close the closet doors. Finally figured out (I *think*) a way to lock them so we'll see how that goes... Ferret bedding, toys, and supplies...in the other side of the closet My Ball Python Shiiva's tank Stuff out of reach Small tower and 2 litter boxes (one by the door, one in the tower) The trash can is filled with crumpled paper so they can tip it over and feel like they are getting away with being naughty... ;D And a hanging carrier to snuggle in A branch so Tito can reach the top of the bookshelf when she is out Crinkly sack and Tito's cage Pics and videos of the boys enjoying it to come. They haven't had the chance to try it out yet because I have been cleaning all day

Oh yes, and the tupperware in the bottom right of the Big tower is filled with peat moss and play sand, and the litter box in the small tower is clipped in place so they can't move it!

AWESOME! I bet they will love it! Except maybe the big round pottery thing... What is that, a ferret trap? I can just see Kenai going in that hole in the top then not being able to jump back out ;D Oh and as for "stuff out of reach"... we'll see Come on Koda I bet you can get that stuff somehow...

Awesome ferret room! The shelves are such a good idea! It's like $20 for a pack of the cubes here, so that's definitely going to be my next ferret toy ;D Tito's cage is beautiful too, I was wondering where you keep such a big reptile ;D, is it homemade? it looks awesome!

BE Extremely Careful with those squares. I make a shelving thing like that for the kids one time and one of them got stuck trying to climb through two holes. She screamed bloody murder and gave me a heart attack.

Your room looks wonderful...I don't know about Kenai but I do know that Koda is a ....hmmmm....resourceful, little fellow. I don't know what's on those shelves by the climbing tower but my guys would be in those books or DVD's faster than you could say ferret. I'm thinking that Koda would find them hugely amusing. I also second what Sherry mentioned about the clothes...remember my pics of Mad Max. He's not the only one that believes clothing is the way to "Narnia"....Fun-Go, Yuri, Captain Jack are all fuzzes who believe in climbing their way to greater and more interesting places . I;m thinking that Koda would probably be quite inventive about getting around. I think your room is going to produce endless fun and amusement and maybe a little bit of frustration as you work out some of the "bugs" I know it was a couple of weeks before I was comfortable allowing my guys free roam and play in their room on their own ciao

Haha nope I tested it, they can get out. It's looking really good, Katt Only problem I could see is the shelves were "everything is out of reach" ;D Suki would be up those clothes hanging on the back of the door so fast ;D Oh no worries guys. He already knows how to climb the clothes. He did it all of the time at our old place. ;D The "stuff out of reach" was more the stuff on the shelves. The over0door hanger will probably migrate to my room soon because I am tired of hanging my purse on my doorknob. Awesome ferret room! The shelves are such a good idea! Yes it is home-made. Thanks! It still needs a little painting on the outside but yeap. It isn't the most sturdy thing ever so I am glad it Looks good! ;D ;D ;D BE Extremely Careful with those squares. I make a shelving thing like that for the kids one time and one of them got stuck trying to climb through two holes. She screamed bloody murder and gave me a heart attack. Yeah I expect that. They will not be allowed in that room on their own for quite some time. That said, I have had these cubes in my bedroom long before I ever had ferrets, and they have always played in my bedroom (and on the cubes) without any problems. I intentionally put nothing on there that was not okay for them to have. And I am expecting Koda to quickly point out several flaws in the room. hahaha

That is so nice! It really looks like you put alot of care and thought into their room A word about the shredded paper... I made a dig box with it and it was ALOT of trouble, I'd never use it again. It was so high in dust the little fuzzes would sneeze non stop. Plus it tracks EVERYWHERE even from a lidded container with tubes leading out. I'd definitely use something else, not sure what.

<3 I love your room! You did a great job. Of course, Koda and maybe Kenai will cause some trouble and probably make you change a few things BUT, I definitely think that your room is awesome. You worked the space perfectly! I love your set up with the trash can-so they can flip it over to feel naughty! That is soooo cute!

Oh I know. I have used it before and swore NEVER AGAIN. ;D But it's just until I an find some rice or something else. They seem to always be out of big bags when I go, and I can't afford to fill a whole dig box with the little tiny bags! Thanks guys! I need to get pics and videos of them enjoying it. haha
