Day 2...day 1 he licked soup off my finger, them threw a fit. Day 2 he ate a whole spoonful before throwing a fit... I'll take that as progress lol. Im going to sign up for the mentor program as well.
How long can raw soupies stay out before going bad?

soups about 6-8 hours And he is definitely making progress! Feed him what he will eat, and when he stresses let him go and try again about a half hour to hour later.

Alright awesome. And how often should he be eating his raw soup a day? I keep his kibble in there overnight and while I'm at work because i don't want him to starve while i transition him... but hopefully soon i can remove his kibble all together.
I did freeze the leftover soup in an ice tray, and special ways to defrost the cubes?

I just toss them in a dish on the counter For now until he is eating it on his own, offer a few times a day until he is eating at least 2 oz a day.

Let's get him eating on his own On your lap, using a small flat dish, put his soup and hold him on your lap. Offer the dish in front of him. You may have to offer a lick from your finger first, but do so right about the surface of the soup. Then let him lick from the dish on your lap. If he does that, next meal give him his dish in the location he is going to be eating (cage etc). You may wind up having to stand there while he is eating, but that's okay. One of mine needed my hand on his back for the first few days of eating soups on his own

Besides chicken, are there other meats we can try as a soup first before we move to putting chunks in? I just want him to accept all meat, not just chicken...and if so, is it the same recipe as whats in the files? But just substitute 8oz of chicken thigh with something else?

Are you introducing the new proteins in a soup form? You can follow this method below to help get him adjusted to the new taste.
Grab'n'Dab Method Grab your ferret and place them in your lap. Dip your finger in the soup/oil or pick up the piece of meat. Dab onto your ferrets mouth/nose/gums. Wait a moment for them to start licking themselves clean. Release them.
NOTE: This method requires patience and persistence. It may take several tries before they will start willingly licking from your finger/the item. You can practice this method throughout your day or even in smaller sessions of 20-30 minutes, dabbing every 5 minutes.
