I have been through a few cheap meat grinders and I have destroyed too many trying to push Bone through them. And way too much pre-proccessing to get them to grind the bone. Would take hours to grind meat. Finally bit the bullet. This thing weighs 90 lbs and is rated for pet food grinding. (bones) Is sucks down whole chicken and turkey legs without any pre-processing, The motor does not even change tone when it grinds them and it spits the ground meat out in seconds.

yeah that's a beaut. you could probably make pine pellet litter with that. The most expensive ferret-influenced item we've purchased is a van to haul them and all their accouterments on trips. Wish we could afford trips, after the van, lol. We did use it to haul them to Columbus for the Bash a couple years ago, and it worked great. Btw, OSHA says you don't have to lift more than 50# w/o a buddy.

Yes, about 6 years back we bought a motorhome for the ferrets, I forgot about that one, paid it off last year that is probably why I forgot.
I get chicken at my local albertsons for 50% off when it is the sell by date. normally get about 50 - 60 pounds a week.
Trying to get my 13 year old dog to eat raw has proven more difficult than the ferrets
