So true, I love watching them. When does your whole prey order come in?

It says today, it came early morning last time but no such luck this time. So it will probably be there when I get home. Not sure what I want to give them first.

www.facebook.com/LycorisOusa/videos/10155822468291144/Here they are with the little Guinea pigs he weighs around 9.2 ounces and they've been eating between 2.50 to 3 oz right now. They seem to know it's food but looking at it they haven't bitten fully into it other than fighting for it and dragging it all over the cage. Normally to get them to eat I have to lock them up, if that doesn't work I'll cut it open before work. EDIT: It's officially in the liter box

m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=10155822682206144&id=557686143I think this is the most satisfying sound. I didn't film the prey because I had a friend wanting to hear what it sounded like but didn't want to see it. Plus my luck Orion would have stopped eating it. He was nibbling the nose and jaw when I went to look. Roommate took it easier seeing they were albinos meaning bred for food and not the same colors as ones at the pet store. Still doesn't want to see it but I'm excited to see how much they've gone through

Had some nice whole prey poops when I got home. The easiest ones to clean. Appears as though the head is gone, the jaw was left behind it's pretty narly. excuse their poops. tinypic.com/r/2ynfmrn/9

Woke up with morning and it seemed like they hadn't eaten much more of it. I go get dressed and head to the cage to weigh what was left to get an idea of how long it was going to take them to finish him and both were sitting there eating again.
I'm proud of them. I think with the GP and depending on the rat size I am going to have to cut them in half. What's the best way of doing that so everything doesn't go everywhere? Frozen?
Edit:
Managed to get a weight when I scooped the box it has about 2 oz left which they should be able to finish today.

I had to get up super early this morning to head out to my mom's for the day. When I peeked in seemed like they only had maybe an ounce left at the most. They were in the bowels area only back legs and down remained, the prey still had about 5 more hours left so I didn't take it out.
Left a note for my room mate to toss them their breakfast before she went to work. Which she did but it looks as if they haven't touched it yet. My guess is they saved what was left of the GP for this morning. It took them 2 days to finish which is good to know. I dont know at this point if I should have considered it 5 meals or 4 guess I'll have to ask my roommate if she looked for the little Guinea pig this morning.
I am over all proud of his easy this went which I know a lot of it had to do with them being so young.
