I have a 3 month old named willow who I want to get into the process of getting switched to raw. So far, she's extremely picky and will only eat her wysong digestive. I got some samples of primal freeze dried raw at my raw pet store and she eats a couple bites and refuses the rest. Any tips?

Spoon feed on your lap Are you giving it rehydrated? I am rehydrating it. She has so much energy because she's a kit so she will not stay in my lap! After we play and she's tires, she eats and then goes to sleep in her cage.

My young one wanted nothing to do with the freeze dried stuff. I moved to the soup mixture and found success. The first few days I was really discouraged and then all of a sudden -- success!

When introducing something like FDR (or new proteins varieties of it), you can offer a small piece of it as is for a treat or crumble a little in with food they already know. This helps them to "taste" it. After that you can start offering it as food, rehydrated. You may even be able to add a sprinkle of some of it dry over on top of it to entice.
