Hello, My husband was taking care of our 3 ferrets today while I cleaned their cage and I guess little Ivy was trying to get into something. He was doing the dishes while they were playing in the kitchen and as far as I know in his panic to grab Ivy some soap bubbles fell off his hand. He said by the time he turned around Kingsley and Rose were licking the soap bubbles. They may have gotten a few licks in before he cleaned it up.
This just happened a couple seconds before writing this. Since they didn’t ingest all that much I wasn’t sure if I should just monitor them and give them lots of water or bring them to the vet. :/

I've had dogs that ate a poop ton of that before and that's what it did. No experience of it happening with my ferrets tho so hopefully someone who knows will comment. But unless they act weird I wouldn't worry too much about it especially since they barely ate any..

omg ferrets love soap. our soap bars are not safe with ferts running around, but most of them have had a taste and there have been no serious problems. I've wondered if I should have antibiotics compounded with soap to get them to take it...

Thank you guys for the speedy responses! Definitely helping my worrying. They haven’t acted at all different than normal!
