I'd like to set up a playdate with my boy and other ferrets to see how he does. I'm having a hard time finding resources near me. He has always been a solo ferret but I think he would really like a friend.

I lived there a year and can help with resources for vets and raw feeding. I linked your post to some of our Seattle members in case they want to come out of the woodwork

👋👋 I live in Graham, I'd guess a good hour south of Seattle. I have 3 babies, 2 females and a male. We don't make it up north too often but we live on 20 acres and love taking walks with friends if you're ever down this way. If you're thinking about finding your boy a sibling, you might look into Washington Ferret Rescue and Shelter in Kirkland, or Denises Delightful Dookers in Auburn. I'm not 100% sure their policy, they may require proof of vaccinations for instance, but it might be possible to arrange a meet and greet to see if he hits it off with one looking for a home.

Denise specializes in medical needs ferrets but she does take in surrenders, some of whom are young and healthy. She also boards ferrets if you ever need an experienced carer. www.facebook.com/Denises-Delightful-Dookers-Ferret-Rescue-Shelter-124985174745/
