IMG_1326 (1) by unclejoe1158, on Flickr IMG_1331 (1) by unclejoe1158, on Flickr IMG_1330 by unclejoe1158, on Flickr She thinks I'm hers. After introductions (I was still sleeping at 7 AM when Dar brought her in to show me) She curled up on my lap and I hadn't even sat up yet. Once I got up, she took over my side of the bed. She's very affectionate, but looks well fed. There are only a few houses on my road, and if she came from anywhere else the next nearest houses are across a busy 4 lane road or 1/4 mile across a hay field. I talked to a neighbor who has like 14 barn kats but he's not aware of any recent litters, as his wife minds the clowder. I put up a flyer at the end of our road and an ad on craigslist. If we don't hear anything today I'll put an ad at the shelter and give it a week.. Wasn't lookin for another kat, but she is adorable if we get stuck with her. For now I call her It, as we don't want to name her until we're sure she's staying.

When she woke from her nap on the couch she went straight to my lap and demanded attention. I showed her where her litter box is and she acted like she didn't need it. Back to my lap on the sofa (it's college football day, more luvin for a good 20 min. Then she gets down and goes to a corner where there is a pad for the ferts. Meowed a few times, and me not having indoor kats for years thought how cute. then she pees on the ferret pad. At least it was a designated litter zone, but I hope if she stays she will go to the box. And she's found a jingle ball. Someone save me/us

That kitten has well and truly moved in on you! Tbh, I don’t think I could resist if she’d adopted me. She wants to own you and you know she’s going to get her way, it’s a cat thing.....

Tonight a couple kids took their kitty home They are newer neighbors in a house that was vacant for 2 years until September. We had a feeling that's where she came from. It's weird that the parents weren't at the door with them. I would have liked to say hey, but they let their 12ish daughter and 9ish son knock on a stranger's. albeit neighbor's door at dark. Oh well. it's a start...

Glad she was reunited with her family And yes, that's weird that the parents let them do that alone.

Looking like a cross between a Siamese and another type of cat because of the white patches. What a cute cat! I use to have a Siamese. She was my first cat of mine, not a family cat. I had her for 21 1/2 years. I still miss her. This kitty reminds me of her with her apple face when she was a kitten.

She inspired us to search for and adopt Marsha. She's flat out crazy. She thinks she's a ferret with long legs and superman abilities IMG_1450 by unclejoe1158, on Flickr
