Day 11 - AM Feed 1. Ferret names: Mimi, Precious, Logan 2. 4.5 ounces of soupie mix + 1.5 ounces small chunks chicken thighs + .75 ounces hearts/gizzards + .755ounces liver + 1/4 teaspoon bonemeal 3. Stools were normal. No strange colors. 4. Activity levels: Another busy day so they were only out for 1 hour for their morning activities. 5. Weekly menu: Day 11 will mark the end of this soupie mix. Now it'll be 50% soupie/small chunks. 6. Stress Levels: - only was out for an hour before I had to to work. - Added back the small chunks. See #2 - They were digging at the carpet under the door leading to the bathroom where their quarantined roomy is being held 7. Notes - Definitely need to start doing a feeding den for these guys. www.facebook.com/groups/158560084258398/permalink/1486574214790305/Read more: holisticferret60.proboards.com/thread/23723/unofficial-transition-mimi-precious-logan?page=2#ixzz4yAOqcvu3

Yea, for 11 days they were getting a total of 18 ounces a day. Then Heather mentioned that was too much. 9 ounces a day they threw a tantrum and threw the bowl in their cage so went up to 12 ounces

I am assuming then at the 18oz they had a ton of left overs? No. Bowls were licked clean.... day 12 and 13 there would be 1 oz left when i got back from work. But I let them out to play then they eat it when they're done and look at me for more when it was empty

Day 14 - Feeding
1. Ferret names: Mimi, Precious, Logan 2. Total of 12 ounces total of 50% soupie mix + 50% larger pieces than small chunks of chicken thigh and rough chopped pieces of hearts/gizzards. 3. Stools were normal. No strange colors. Still soft. 4. Activity levels: Total of 3 hours for their daily free roaming activities in the bedroom with Wade outside of his cage. 5. Weekly menu: 50% chunks/ soupie. 6. Stress Levels:
- Free roaming and playing with Wade. - They were exploring Wade's individual cage. - Mimi is the one that plays with him the most. - Precious sometimes tolerates him and plays with him. Otherwise ignores him. If she doesn't like it, she'll play with him for a little bit then run off. No hissing or tail puffing or pooing from her. Then when she's recovered, she'll go back to either ignoring him or playing/lightly engaging him. - Wade plays the roughest with Logan. Mostly goes for Logan's ears, scruff and throat. No hissing or tail puffing from Logan when Wade bites him too hard, but when Logan makes a cry when Wade bites his throat, I am there to separate. However, when I separate, Logan tries to bite me and escape from my handling to go back to Wade and do more fighting/playing.

Then they need at least that much. I had one lad who was going through 12 Oz a day by HIMSELF when first transitioning. Your little ones were only doing 6oz a day each (6+6+6=18).
