K today was my final definite toy purchases since my Amazon delivery comes in tomorrow:
- Laser Pointer: Mimi looked at it for a second, chased it for a little bit then completely ignored it other times. Precious will stop what he's doing once he sees it and will chase it around. Then he smartens up and goes for my hand and the clicker.
- Bird Chirping Stuffed Toy: Caught Mimi's attention for a split second. I threw it in front of her and looks up at me with a "WTF" face and walks away from me and it. Completely ignored by Precious.
- Jingling Balls: saving for introduction tomorrow.
I'm running out of ideas for toys lol.

Mine are scientists who would rather investigate the world. My blaze does like her minnie cloth animals, which she stashes beside all the meat that she stores. They will play with rolled up socks only if i play along too. I have one who is recuperating from a broke leg that likes chasing toys on a string. My male likes crunching those thin water bottles. Not too sure about the safety of that.

Mine really don't do toys. At least not for long. They'd much rather chase through tubes, play for a few minutes in the dig box, and play with their humans.

They only come to me when they want up on the cage. I try to interact with them but they're on their own little world. Still an improvement to when they were first biting me 3 days ago.

Try doing a towel drag for them. They get to ride while you pull them through the house on the towel

I did forget that my blaze likes riding the mop. My first set liked jumping on the puffs made by throwing the sheets up in the air once sheet settled on floor. Everything mainly involves humans.

Angus likes to play with mouse-type cat toys and soft biteable balls - his ‘bestest favourite’ is a lurid pink fluffy mouse with a pink pompom on the end of an elasticated ‘tail’, but there’s a red rag ball with a yellow feather tail and a pompom made of felt strips he likes as well - I think perhaps the texture in his teeth pleases him. He likes to pounce on a tennis ball gently rolled across the floor and wrestle it to death. He also plays ‘bull fights’ with a towel - I hold it up vertical and shake it gently, he pounces on it and then I drop it on him and tickle him through the towel while he dooks and squirms his way out so we can do it again. He recognises the name of that game - I ask him ‘do you want to play matadors?’ and he’ll bunch himself up and wait for the towel to move. I haven’t tried towing him around the floor on a towel - I’ll give that a go next time he’s in the mood to play and see what he thinks!
My other ferrets think the only good toy is another ferret.

They do like motion. Every ferret I've had (28 and counting) has loved plastic and paper grocery bags. They love the sounds and motion when they touch them. It amazes me that I can put a folded paper bag on the floor and a ferret will know it has an inside. This video is our version of towel rides. Every ferret in the house will try to jump on, even the older ones. It's just a cut down box with a lead/rope/string to pull it. IMG_1290 by unclejoe1158, on Flickr

I tried toys from amazon too... they liked the boxes and packing paper the most. But I ended up building a box castle which they love! I put some fallen leaves in their dig box for the season and that’s a hit. And if you have a blow dryer with a cool setting that makes them go pretty crazy too! They also have “their” toys that us humans aren’t allowed to play with. They keep them hidden most of the time and immediately scurry them away if we touch them.

I'm going toy crazy and in the process of building a box/plastic/tube play area for them ... *shoot myself*
