I've always just seen the raw diet regimen everyone does and medications that ferrents have for their little ones, but I have not seen anything about any other supplements like vitamin supplements (Ferrettone). Are such supplements not needed in a raw diet?

On a properly balanced raw diet, your ferret will not need any supplements. Ferretone is nonsense to begin with anyway, it contains carcinogenic ingredients (can lead to cancer over time), and serves no purpose but to cause sadness and waste money, along with all other Marshall's products. Not to mention, certain vitamins if not handled carefully and correctly can lead to a world of unhappiness; Vitamin A for example, which is a fat-soluble vitamin, meaning if given too often and too much of, can accumulate in the body and lead to a vitamin A toxicity.
Salmon oil makes a lovely treat to give and can be used in its place if you need help distracting a fuzzbutt to trim their nails or do a check on them. The limit is 1tsp per ferret, per week.

Linda is right. A balanced raw diet is all they need Salmon oil is a good distraction as well as a good source of omega 3s. However even that they can get by adding a meal of fresh water fish once a week.
