Hey guys,
The weather has been very hot lately. This whole week my room has been about 78-84 degrees. My ferrets have always had a good appetite, however since last night I noticed they didn't eat much of their lamb and chicken wings (their favorite). Their energy level is normal and are drinking normally, as well as their bowel movements. Is is the hot weather that may be causing this? Again, my ferrets ARE EATING, just not as much as usual. Im just a concerned ferret mother.

Appetites do indeed drop during prolonged hot weather. It just takes too much energy to digest the food.
