You may have to hold him in your lap and touch his mouth with the soupie( finger feed). If he squirms to get down, let him go and in couple or so minutes try again. You may have to do this for a little while.

He LOVED it! even though I got him almost a week ago, my little munchkin is so friendly and loves getting attention so when I take him out of his cage I always carry him like a baby for a bit and pet him and kiss him and all that stuff haha! So this morning I took him out and carried him infront of his soup. He took a sniff and looked away. Then I took a bit on my finger and touched his lips with it so he could taste it and he started going crazy licking my finger then eating by himself! He was so into it! He finished the food completely and played a bit then went back to sleep. I got home really late today but ill let him a bit of kibble for the transition. I hope everything goes well! Also no green poops after feeding him raw! Of course raw ferret poop can be quite weird so i will check an eye on that. Bed time for my darling and for me too! Sweet dreams to all of you too haha!

Glad he took to it like a champ:)
Ferrets fed raw will have wetter poops and smaller ones. I use to worry about this because it looks nothing like kibble pooh. When they have organ meals, it will be more lose. When you feed bone-in meats, don't be surprised to see little fragments of bone.

They basically said they don't know what it is yet. They said in younger ferrets such as mine it is usually caused by a bacterial infection. Its rarely parasites and rarely a blockage for my case (my ferret is perfectly normal with everything he just has green poops) So I paid for a bacterial test. Im not too sure what she said for the results she said that theres no signs of bacteria yet and they will check for parasites later today. They gave me antibiotics and sent me home with a "if he doesnt get better in a week of time" talk.

Im not sure what to do anymore. The medications arent working. His poops stopped being green after I fed him the soup but they became seedy (caused by the fat that wasnt digested) they look more brown with a little tint of green but its hard to notice. The next day after the soup He had a bit of diarrhea so since then I didnt want to upset his stomach even more. I'll try to explain everything in an simpler way
At the beginning - I found around 3-4 normal poops and 1-2 green mucous poops (per day) that had a few seeds over time and gained more and more
So I gave him a soup- he had a normal poop then started having mushy diarrhea (light brown) that lasted a day. So I gave him his kibble back after.
After that he started having the poops he has now. Almost completely seedy and brown with a tint of green and nothing has cahnged since I went to the vet tuesday

How old is your fuzzer again? I can't quite recall right now if you'd mentioned.
He'd likely do much better with a kibble like Orijen, and if chicken is a possible culprit in his current kibble, then Orijen's Regional Red should work well as it excludes chicken unlike many other kibbles. Of course, it could be anything in his kibble that is causing a reaction, that's why it's so hard to figure out with kibbles, there's just SO MUCH that goes into them.
Ideally, it would still be best to switch over to doing a raw diet, as it's much easier to avoid items that could cause issues.
Please continue to let us know how your little sweetie is doing. Sometimes the medicines can take a bit to work as well, just keep an eye on him.

Medications didnt change much... hes 3 months old! Still very young. Im trying to find another kibble for now as I'll have to find a place where I can get good meat if I want to change him on to raw diet with plenty of variety. Can I possibly make my own kibble? Make it from meat and have all the good ingredients and everything needed

Just saw another post a while back about the same kibble question. I guess its bad for them anyways. I still have the raw soup i made in the freezer. Should I slowly change him on that? Also does anyone have a plan of what they give exactly to their ferrets not like the others that say bone meal or organ but actually what you give them like turkey heart and lamb liver and such. I'd like to get a type of calendar thing for him
