I bought some sardines to incorporate some fish into my ferrets' diet do I have to gut them or can I just cut it up and feed it to them?

I think because of their size sardines can be given as is. Maybe someone else will confirm this with more information. Do keep in mind though that ferrets should not have more than 1 fish meal per week. I also like to either do a fishy meal, or some fishy treats, but never both in the same week. It's either one or the other.
Oh, and are the sardines canned or fresh? Canned ones are often in a solution of salted water or oil, as well as being cooked of course.

Fresh sardines no matter the size can be fed as whole. Canned sardines are not a good choice because they're processed ciao

They are larger frozen sardines. I only plan on feeding it at most once a week I just wanted to get some of the nutrition from fish in their diet and continue varying their diet more. Thanks guys.
