So I've decided I want to switch my ferret to a raw diet. I've heard there are many benefits and I want what's best for my furbaby. But I'm a little lost as to how to start. I tried giving my ferret, Stitch, a raw egg today, but he wanted absolutely nothing to do with it. I then tried giving him some raw chicken and he licked my hand where the chicken was but didn't eat the actual chunk of it. I'm going to blend the chicken into a paste instead and see if he prefers that. I was given a link to that page with all the information on switching to a raw diet but for some reason my computer will not let me access any of the helpful pages. I just want to know how I should introduce him into eating raw, what I should give him, how many meals I should give him, if I should give him kibble as well, etc. I basically want to know everything there is to know about switching to raw. I apologize if these questions have obvious answers, but any help is extremely appreciated. (I heard feeding raw makes the ferret smell good, is that correct?) Thank you for your time.

here is a link to our switching archives. These are threads where our mentors have walked their mentee through a switch from first steps through graduation : ) They will show you a good starting point. holisticferret60.proboards.com/board/55/archives
