I went to a pet store and got something for my ferrets and noticed that there was a betta fish that looked like he had been at the store for some time. The other bettas were in containers of clean water and neatly set on the slots made to hold them. This betta was set on the self in front of it with algae growing on the bottom of his container. I don't know how they are cared for at pet stores of how long they live in those little plastic containers but I decided to take him. I was worried that me might die having lived his entire life in a tiny space. Here he is, He spent a while in a temprary container until I got a good tank for him. This is him in it and I think that he likes it though I think that it took him a while to get used to things in his environment. I've been calling him Mr. Fish so far. Any ideas for a good name?

What a beauty! I hate how they keep them in such tiny cups in the pet store. Since he is a Siamese fighting fish you could name him after a famous fighter/boxer!

Not bad names, especially Rocky. I thought about Red Beard too because if you look closely he has two red fins under his chin but I don't know if I want a pirate sounding name.

Rocky is a good name. Maybe I'll call him Rocky balboa. He's was a fighter, (I know that he was just a character in a movie) it seems to fit though. Maybe I'll get some mini steps for him to swim up.
