What do you guys think of a Critter Nation cage compared to the Ferret Nation, the critter is slightly smaller, from what I can tell, but the main difference would be the bar's spacing and style.
The critter nation would be worrisome because of the horizontal bars, which could get a ferret in trouble if they were the climbing type, I imagine.
Still, there's a super good deal in my area for a two level one. With a bit of thinking I could probably figure out a way to get rid of the climbing problem.
Thanks!

I've come across plenty of ferret owners who have used the CN cages instead of the FN, either because they already owned one before for sugar gliders, rats, and the like, or got it on a special price.
Far as I recall they're actually the same in height and all that, and pretty much identical but for the bar spacing which instead of 1" is 1/2" on the CN and run slightly differently. This of course does make it easier for a climber to climb the cage when outside of it, so if you have one that likes to climb, you may need to attach some Plexiglas/Acrylic Sheeting to the bottom part of the cage to deter them with its smooth surface. That said, some ferrets have no issues climbing their FN cages, and the owners end up with the same issue anyway.

I have one. It melds seamlessly with my 2 ferret nations. I have it in the middle of a 3 bank cage set up. All link so that the 3 cages become 1 cage ciao
