I'm thinking about buying a large bag of dried beans for a new dig box and I'm not sure what kind of beans to get. Has anyone done this? Do you think it would be better to get a large bean so they can't accidentally swallow it? Any bean suggestions would be appreciated.

Dried Pinto beans are a common choice for many people, though I haven't tried it myself yet.

I did a dig box with black beans, and they loved it!

I did buy them in bulk. I can't find the email from my purchase so I don't know the place I got it but if I do find it I will post it here.

The cheapest I've ever been able to get dry pinto beans was $14 for 25 pounds at CostCo.

look online. one of my former clients was quite the online shopper and he found everything online because it was hard for him to get out in a wheelchair. He bought a lot of beans, chick peas and dry beans online.
