I'm currently feeding my boys on a porridgey soup made of natures menu raw cat nuggets thinned out with a bit of water. is this ok and if so how long do i keep them on this until i start on meaty chunks and stuff. also is this weekly menu ok? how many raw nuggets should each ferret get? they all weigh about 2 pounds.
Monday Am Mouse. Pm Chick.
Tuesday Am Chicken wing. Pm Beef chunks .
Wednesday Am Chick. Pm Lamb heart .
Thursday Am Duck neck. Pm Mouse .
Friday Am Mouse. Pm 1/2 Poultry liver 1/2 poultry heart.
Saturday Am Chicken Wing. Pm Beef Chunks .
Sunday Am Turkey Neck. Pm 1/2 Poultry liver 1/2 poultry heart.

Let's deal with the menu first -You will need one full meal of liver/other organ, as well as a half meal liver/organ a week. Same goes for heart. I would reduce the lamb heart to half, and do half liver/organ with it. -You presently have 7 bone in meals(chicks don't count, too low in calcium). Keep a close eye on stools and if a bit loose, replace one of the 2 chick meals with a bone in. -Variety is pretty good, as is the rest of it. As for moving them along, this should help holisticferret60.proboards.com/thread/14070/transitioning-commercial-ground-raw-frankenprey

two are now eating soup on their own but one is still being spoon fed as he won't eat on his own yet is it too soon to take away kibble or should i leave some out overnight? also is 10 nuggets each meal enough for all three?

I'd remove it now. It will also help the hold out move along As for amounts, once the kibble is removed appetites for the raw will almost double for 2-4 weeks before dropping to normal amounts. That is normal It's almost like they are making up for lost nutrition. So it is going to depend on each ferret. I had one who weighed about 2lbs who would eat half again the amount of his same size cage mate. For an approximation until you have a better idea, plan on about 2oz per ferret per meal, and go from there.

Not a problem The main reason for that was to make sure a person was able to start the switch upon acceptance. Given you are well on your way it doesn't apply.
