Gotcha! Also, I've noticed some strange small red patches around his mouth. They are kind of hard to see, but definitely there. He doesn't seem to be affected by it, and definitely seems very energetic. Is this normal?

I took Titus to see the vet today because he's been sneezing quite abit.
The vet said that it's either allergies or a cold, so he gave me antibiotics for Titus. In addition to this, I requested a ear inspection, and the vet found that Titus has ear mites. He applied some medicine to the skin of his neck, and asked me to come back in a week for another inspection.

If he has mites, every single mammal in your house needs to be treated. Otherwise they just keep getting passed back and forth. When we had an outbreak here, the one who got it the worst was the one cat who was never in contact with them. As for the sneezing, odds are it is just a bit of fur or dust stuck up in his nose. He will keep sneezing off and on, really hard at times, until it comes out

Thankfully, the only pet I have is Titus! They don't pass to humans right?
I cleaned the whole house and wiped all the corners and everything down, and he seems to be sneezing a lot less. It was probably dust.

I'm a little worried as he's eating about 1/2 as much as he used to. However, he's actually gotten a lot more energetic and put on weight. Is there something to be concerned about? I know that he eats a lot more at the start of the switch, and will slowly will eat less over time, but should this happen within a span of just two weeks?
It is also worth mentioning that he's currently on antibiotics from the doctor.

When combined with spring weight loss, definitely Seasonal weight gain/loss generally happens over about 3 weeks, and they can and do gain/lose up to 40% of their body weight Which is why we suggested doing monthly weights as a regular habit. That way you don't freak out each spring when your fattie becomes a skinny minnie in less than a month!

Thanks Sherry! Also, I've been reading up on something called rectal prolapse, and I've noticed that when Titus goes potty, a small portion of his anus becomes visible. After that, it resides. This had been going on ever since he changed to raw, and I thought it was normal till I read up more on it. Should I be worried about anything? Recently though, there are times where it doesn't happen at all. He just pooped just now, a thick trail (because he was super excited to continue playing, he pooped and instantly started to run out of his litter box) of very dark brown pastey poop, and there was no prolapse.

I read that this happens when Ferrets have loose stools or diarrhea. Is it possible that this is a result of the transition to raw because his poops are so funky?

Up till now, he's only been eating about 2-3 oz of meat a day. I no longer add water to his soup, and it's more of minced meat rather than a soup. Kind of strange though. Sometimes, he won't eat unless I put some on a spoon and wave it in front of him, or place him directly in front of his food plate. Despite this, he's still also super energetic, and jumps all over the place.
