Ok, so the girls already are on full frankenprey, crunching up bone & slurping down organ like little pros.
I am struggling with knowing how much to give the 3 though. I have no idea & every day they seem so hungry & eat so quickly. I want to be careful how much i give them because poppy seems to eat wether shes hungry or not. & i still feel shes over weight.
Franks getting a bit more accustomed to the girls, they share a room at night, the girls caged & frank loose.
I do need your oppinion on theyre future living arrangements - i have a new rabbit hutch thats around 2-3foot deep & 4-5ft long, 2 levels. The play is that the 3 girls will be in there from around 11pmish to 9.30pmish the next day, then play round the whole house for at least an hour. The next day they'll be free roam in the ferret room for 11hours & frank will be in the hutch. What do u think? If the girls are up & active when i feed ellie & franks sleeping then ill get them out for a 15min ish play time. Or swap them for an hour or so.
What do u think? Im beginning to have second thoughts. With it being a wooden hutch, i can easily link more together as used ones become available in my area. So the caged living space will grow.
Im ordering food this week so ill update u on the new menu when its ordered.
One last thing. Im becoming friends with the lady who runs the ferret rescue near me. She saved 5 from an auction on wednesday - they were taped inside paint tins! Since then weve been discussing me fostering for her when she needs me! Ive always wanted to foster! Im so excited lol
