Take care that he doesn't start....ferrets who don't dig are a rare species ;D ;D I have a meshing that goes across the top of the enclosure. We have a lot of prey birds, owls, red tailed hawks (one is nesting on the corner of the property and teaches her young to hunt in our backyard...a few less squirrels never hurts )as well as four footed preditors, foxes, wolves and coyotes. ciao

Rockie doesn't dig at all unless it's a plant and that's only sometimes. I guess I'm lucky? She has been sticking her little nose through the holes of the wire but she can't get out and then she tries to pull at it.. You would think they would love it so much that they wouldn't try to escape lol. I think they do like it though. Bear bounces around like a bunny haha! He even hides low in the grass and jumps up and surprises Rockie lol.
