I will definitely give that a try tonight. I am going to the store today, any suggestion on what meat I should try?
Haha, he's definitely home with her more during the day, she knows me as her source food and someone who's gonna clean up after her. (I'm totally fine with that 😋)

Chicken is the mildest, and most seem to accept that more readily. Also to give you an idea what I meant by they will forgive you- in the following link is a video in the first post. This was what I had to do with Boris every time he'd not had a protein for over a month. Evidently it would become poison again (headwall) He was my heart ferret and never stayed upset with me holisticferret60.proboards.com/thread/4343

Okay so those last 2 links were very helpful. I will definitely use that method if I have to. I can't wait to start this transition. The more I'm reading the more I just want to get her off this kibble.
Thank you so much I. An not even stress how helpful everyone and this website has been.

So did you try the soup route or the small slivers with oil/egg drizzled on top? And how did it go? I'm excited to hear your progress!

I actually tried a few slivers of chicken thigh with the salmon oil on top and she actually sniffed/ licked it like twice and then wanted nothing to do with it.
In her defense I did not take her kibble away a few a hours before trying this so she probably wasn't very hungry either. I'm excited to see where this goes 😊

Did you pop on of the slivers into her mouth? Sometimes they have to be taught that's where it goes I'm sure you'll have better luck tomorrow if you remember to take away the kibble first

I did this morning, she chewed it up and spit it out eventually. But that's still a step closer.

It's good that she was chewing it. Patience and persistence will win in the end. Keep doing that with her until she eats up the silver, every little bit is helping her to get a taste for it.

Keep popping the slivers in, especially after she has an appetite She will definitely start to eat them.
