Here is my c&c cage with a remote litter box. He was having a hard time using a corner litter pan because it was just too small but he seems to really like the remote box I just built yesterday. I plan on adding on to the cage by having a remote dig box/play pin connected with a tube like with the litter box since I don't have room for one big cage.

Looks good so far... I'm just loving the colors.. I have this personal obsession with lime-sh greens. May I suggest getting another lock crock bowl for the water too, instead of using the water bottle (or are you using both methods, I seem to see another crock under the bottle)? I know people get the bottle because ferrets like to splash water bowls, but the novelty does wear off after a while and you should be good then. The issue with the water bottles have been that they have a habit of wearing down on their teeth and causing teeth damage.
And as for the litter box, you made a great decision. In general, I've found that most of them hate those corner litter boxes, mine would go anywhere but that little thing, until I got rid of it, and gave enclosed boxes instead, happiest ferrets ever.

Looks good from here. Corner boxes are a waste of money and the acute angle corners are hard to clean. The remote box with lid should help control odors too.

I plan to go with just the crock for water but for right now I have both sources of water there to make sure he gets enough. I wasn't sure how quickly I would need to refill the small bowl.

That's good to hear. Uhm, I put in fresh water in mine daily, just to keep it fresh. But there has been a time or two where I'd been so busy, I only did it the 2nd day (mine drink about 1/4 to 1/3 of a bowl in a day). My two ferrets free-roam in the day, so they also have the big water dispenser bowl for the cat to drink from. We clean the water in that every 2nd day.
