I just spoke with a pet store and they said that salmon oil is getting hard to find because Alaskan Salmon numbers are down. Even online it is not as available. I just ordered one from amazon- the only one available at that time. If this is true, might want to order or stock up?

I feed Grizzly Salmon oil and they have a lot in stock in Amazon. I also found it fairly easily in local Pet Valu stores.

How odd! One bottle should last you quite a while, I wouldn't worry about it too much.

It is odd and after talking with another pet store (my favorite) they said it does happen when the salmon numbers go down but they had not heard of it happening right now. Not wanting to wait for my amazon oil, I bought their Grizzly and it was less than my amazon purchase! Anyway I think one of our dogs will really benefit too! Thanks for all the comments!

I may be wrong because I'm fairly new to using salmon oil, but I believe some companies use farm-bred salmon? I know wild salmon productive could go down, but wouldn't brands using farm-bred salmon still be fine with production?

They are all actually good with production.
