So all of my fuzzies are now on raw soup and the last 2 days they are having very loose and liquidy type stool. What am I missing? Are they ready to move to the next step?

You can expect funky stools in a switch, are you using bone in meats or bone meal or egg shell in your soupy? ciao

Yes I'm using ground egg shell. Their poo smells pretty nasty at the moment but I'm sure that part is due to switching and then trying to push whatever kibble is left in their systems out. I'm trying to find a place to buy bone meal or egg shell powder for cheap but so far nothing I have found is under $30

Your egg shell is it powdered or does it have small chips in it. It needs to be powdered or they can't really absorb it very well. That being said looser rather smelly stools are common in a switch ciao

I'm mainly worried about Todd since he suffered a prolapse really early on. He has had stitches in his bum for almost a month. The girls have loose stool but Todd's is literally like water. I ordered some bone meal and some taurine powder. They should both be here in the next couple days the blender ground them down but there were still tiny Chunky bits of the egg.

I let my egg shells dry for a day on the counter then grind with a pestle, some people use magic bulllets or coffee grinders. But if it's super runny poops up the amount of eggshell/bone meal by 1/4 teaspoon per batch of soup, see how they look and adjust again from there depending. It's great you're getting the taurine powder in case there's an emergency and can't get heart! You should always be prefapred (giggle) But it doesn't need to be added to the soup if you're following our recipe

Yep it's mainly for emergency reasons. Sometimes chicken hearts can be difficult to get around here, especially in the winter it seems and I couldn't beat the price on the taurine. It was only $7 with free shipping.
I'm using the bullet to grind the egg up but it doesn't seem to powder very well. Can't wait until their bone meal comes in. I know it will firm things back up.

I normally don't suggest this, but given his background for the interim until you get the bonemeal in I would add 1/4 tsp of pure pumpkin into his soups to firm his stools up. Once the bone meal comes in then stop the pumpkin.

Can you find beef heart at a local meat market as a"just in case" option too?

I haven't been able to find beef hearts and I have a feeling I'm going to have to order them in order to get them.
As for the pumpkin Sherry I will give that a try and see if it helps.
