If you one he'll eat that is excellent! I'd leave him on that(minus kibble) for a good 4 or 5 months before trying to introduce the raw.

Sherry I spoke too soon... hubby had to clean up a puke this morning (and this was on 2 days of wet only). Sigh.. what am I going to do with this poor, wretched animal. I bought a bunch of foods to try... various flavors of the Wellness Signature Selects, some flavors of the Applaws, some PureBites and a couple Blue Wilderness cans. I gave up on letting him try the NV Instinct canned food.. he doesn't want the pate in any way.. and I found some really hard shards of cooked bone in them. I guess I'll see if he likes any out of these.. and doesn't upchuck all of it onto my carpet again. I really hope I can take kibble away entirely soon, as my ferrets have been doing raw only (no more partial kibble in the day) for a while now and they're so happy and energetic. I want my kitty to be happy and energetic too... not just sitting up there on the cat tree and glaring at me because I am a heartless monster who ignores his cries and just wants to take his kibble away forever.

One thing I had completely forgotten- once off the kibble(even for a couple of days) vomiting with all the cats increased for a while. When checked I almost always found fur in it. I think(personal opinion) is that since the kibble kept them borderline dehydrated fur built up in the stomach and didn't all pass. With the extra moisture of even canned, it would come up more often. After a couple of months it stopped except for the odd hairball.

There actually wasn't any fur at all in his puke this time. It was like someone took some chicken broth with chicken shreds in and poured it out over the carpet, my husband wasn't happy as it was much harder to clean than his old pukes.
The cat also responded by refusing to touch any wet food after that for the rest of the day and instead kept crying about kibble. He's going to give me gray hair at this rate, lol.

Poor lad His tummy must have hurt from that one. Just an idea here, but can you try one without any chicken in it? Just to see if that helps any.

He's been getting some tuna ones in the last two days. I got some "Fussie Cat" cans from a local petstore where I get my Stella & Chewys from. He seemed delighted to eat the Fussie Cat canned. So I'll see how he does...
