OK. But I can't take a way her kibble for the whole day Again. I will try again and just try once for her after 3/4 hours. I don't like the fact that she ate nothing for 8 hours today and when we put the kibble back she was scarring it up... That was after I tried giving her the soup on my finger By the way don't stress switching is a process the fact that they are licking soup off your finger is a huge step 💖💖 Let's go back and start from scratch. Let's start finger feeding again. Grab Wolf dab your finger in soup dab it on his gums then let him go. Do the same with Sophie. Just keep repeating it during the day they need to be taught to like the soup OK we will try this tomorrow... I hope. I have been sick today and haven't wanted to feed them by hand because I don't want to get them sick. I put the food in their cage and my son fed Wolf a little, but that's it.

What do you think about adding coconut oil to Wolf's food since he likes it a lot? If so, how much should I add?

Yes. You got them right Those are my babies You have lovely babies. They are beautiful 💖💖 I have been looking at Sophie's pictures and I am really worried about the hair loss pattern she is exhibiting in her picture. She has a very thin looking under coat, her hips are sunken in it. A lot of those kinds of symptoms lead to adrenal. I would definitely recommend going to the vet and seeing if you can get her implanted with the des implant it is the best for adrenal disease and it will only benefit her in the long run while you are there I would definitely recommend doing a blood glucose test as well. When adrenal presents itself insulinoma tags along sometimes <3 it's just a good idea with her age to test her BG and get her checked out about those hair loss patterns. <3

I hope so 💙💙 I hate being sick so I understand not wanting to handle them 💖💖 Have they at least had access to kibble since you haven't done the raw today? Coconut oil would be a great thing to do to get him to eat more raw. What you could do is make sure the coconut oil is in fluid form and put a little bit in his soup. Offer him some soup from your finger from that mixture. If he takes to it you can try the spoon 💓💓

Yes, they had access to kibble all day and Wolf the soup in his cage. He had a tiny bit by himself my son said❤️ How much coconut oil should I mix with his food if I try him at an ounce a day of the soup? Sophie has been like that with her hips and fur her whole life, and the vet has never said anything about it being bad. And what do you mean hair loss patterns? She isn't missing any fur.

A couple drops in there so he knows it's in there I wouldn't mix it I would put it right on top For Sophie I just noticed that I can see the skin on her tail through her fur. Which is typical of thin hair related to adrenal. Even if she ends up not having adrenal, the DES implant can be used as a preventative. So once implanted it actually takes stress off the adrenal glands. It also helps stop the glands from progressing into disease

I think that is the picture. Her hair that is on her under coat is a lighter tan than her normal color. I will take more photos of her when I feel better. If you said that about my Wowonk I would understand because you could see her skin on her tail and she was very thin her whole life. I will call the vet next week and see what they say, I know I wouldn't be able to get her seen until the middle of February at least because of money issues.

I'm very happy. I tried feeding them without scuffing them first. Both of the ferrets ate off my finger willingly, so I tried the spoon. Sophie ate a tablespoon and Wolf ate 1 1/2 tablespoons from the spoon! I think they were stressed with the scuffing and thought it was a bad thing since I've rarely scuffed them in their lives. This also was not after taking away their kibble, but after they played outside of their cage for an hour. I will try again after my nap. Feeling a little bit better today, but not 100%.

I didn't know you were scruffing them. Sounds like they are doing well congrats! Great job!! I am really proud of you and your babies 💖💖

Yes I was scuffing them at first to get them to taste the food. Luckily they are napping now while I am going to. I told my boys to make sure to get me up when they wake up so I can feed them.

Sophie had 1/2 teaspoon when she woke up, and Wolf had 1 teaspoon, both had one lick off the finger then went to the spoon. 1 teaspoon equals about.1 of an ounce. I put 1 1/2 teaspoons in their cage to see if they would eat it when they are hungry. Will see how that goes, but I will hand feed them again after their next nap.
